Enriched with a legacy that spans 140 years, Hands creates woven carpets for some of the world’s most prestigious palaces, luxury hotels, institutions and residences. Founded in 1881, in Bhadohi, India, by A Tellery, who is largely considered the pioneer of the modern Indian handmade carpet business, the crafting of fine handmade carpets was passed on to the Patodia family decades later, of which the second generation now drives the craft, direction and growth. While being known for having crafted what is arguably the world's finest hand-knotted carpet, with an incredible 4,900 knots per square inch, Hands by Patodia is today the purveyor of fine hand knotted and hand tufted carpets, creating carpets for premium homes in India as well as across the world.
